SUNDAY BEST TORONTO
2025

On Sunday, June 1, 2025, Sunday Best returned for its third year - bringing together the best of Toronto’s food, friends, and court-and-course fashion in support of the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO) and Kids Help Phone.

Hosted at the prestigious Magna Golf Club, one of Canada’s most elegant private courses, this sold-out celebration welcomed 225 guests for a vibrant afternoon of community, purpose, and unforgettable moments.

Guests were treated to a three-course brunch catered by Executive Chef Richard Singh, a live fashion showcase spotlighting Canadian golf and tennis brands—including Levelwear, Stony Wilds, Roque, PXG, G/Fore, and Marie Birdie—and a diamond jewellery raffle presented by longtime supporters Humbertown Jewellers.

A curated silent auction, live entertainment, and the chance to win a weekend with a Lamborghini Urus SE, courtesy of Grand Touring Automobiles, rounded out the day's luxury experiences.

But the heart of the afternoon belonged to Maryam, Sunday Best’s 2025 Youth Ambassador. Diagnosed with cancer at the age of four and still living with a tumour in her brain stem, Maryam stood before our guests with extraordinary grace, strength, and poise. Her story—and her presence—was a powerful reminder of why this event exists.

As founders Kate, Meghan and Jack Beswick stood alongside the afternoon’s emcees, Jack and Edward Rogers, to welcome guests with a message rooted in family, purpose, and legacy:

“We’re here because every child deserves the comfort of a calm morning, a warm breakfast, and the assurance that someone’s in their corner. We were lucky to grow up with that sense of comfort—and we’ve always felt a responsibility to pass it on, especially to kids in our communities facing the unimaginable.”

Now in its eighth year supporting POGO, and third year with Kids Help Phone aboard, Sunday Best 2025 raised over $210,000, directly supporting children and families navigating cancer and mental health challenges across Ontario.

Built by the next generation, for the next generation—Sunday Best continues to grow, spark conversation, and make real-world impact. And this year, every guest who pulled up a chair helped set the table for thousands of families across our community.
