PJs and Pancakes in the Park
2017
For many, pajamas mean warmth, coziness, a warm hug at the end of a long day. But for a child with cancer, pajamas can mean a very different thing: time living in hospital while undergoing treatment, long early morning car rides to clinic, sick at home, or missing school and playtime with friends and family. For the three of us, we were fortunate enough for pajamas to mean time spent together, sharing weekend breakfasts with friends and family.
In 2017, our involvement with POGO began with PJ's & Pancakes in the Park. With the help of hundreds of supporters, local businesses and corporations such as Starbucks and Bulk Barn, we raised over $12,000 directly for POGO and this was just the start!
